Hi, I just picked up the MM6 a week ago and I’m psyched about it so far.  I have two quick questions.  First, my data wheel spins smoothly at some parts and at other parts gets real stiff.  It’s not preventing me from operating anything, it’s just real annoying.  Any ideas?  Next, the more important question.  I plan on using my MPC1000 as the sequencer for the MM6.  I’m going to set up a standard handshake, but I saw another thread saying you also have to put in the codes from page 84 in order to get non GM sounds.  Do I have to put in a code every single time I want to record midi?  Is there a way to put all the codes in and have them saved on my mpc?  What do people usually do in this situation?  Thanks so much for your help.
