That’s probably not the right name, but a long time ago I solved a problem whereby my Fatar/Studiologic VMK188plus would switch banks on my MotifES rack every time I changed VMK programs. I finally found and changed a setting on my MotifES rack which had to do with receiving or not receiving a GM mode on message. I changed the setting to “no” and it fixed the problem. Now I can’t find the darn thing anywhere on my MotifES rack. Guidance anyone please?

Well there is no ‘Do not Receive GM” Switch on the Motif Rack ES, (never has been)… but what you may have done is turn the RACK ES’s ability to respond to receive Bank Select commands - but it would still respond to the universal GM Reset command (F0 7E &F 09 01) - it is just that it would not switch Banks when you were only sending Bank Select and Program Changes.
