I need your help, because I can not receive the voices and multies from my Motif Rack ES!

I have Win XP (SP2), Studio Manager 2.3.0, Multi Part Editor 2.2.0, Voice Editor 2.2.0, and USB Driver 2.2.2., so I think the latest version from all aplications.
I connected the Rack to my PC with USB cabel.

The MIDI settings in my rack: [UTILITY]->[MIDI]
- BasicRcvCh: 1
- TransmitCh: 1
- DeviceNo: 1
- BankselSw: on
- PgmChangeSw: on
- CC Mode: mode1
- RcvBulkSw: on
- MIDI Sync: internal
- MIDI IN/OUT: USB
- ThruPort: 1

If I’d like to synchronizing the rack from the Studio Manager
- ‘To Hardware’ is working
- ‘From Hardware’ isn’t. I listen any noise (like a shot) and after the Studio Manager windows disappear or I get the ‘Bulk Data Timeout Error’ message.
The situation is the same if I try to sync the rack under ‘Multi Part Editor’ or ‘Voice Editor’. So I can transfer datas but don’t receiving.

In the ‘Setup’ menu:
- MIDI in Remote Port: Yamaha MOTIF-RACK ES-1
- MIDI out Remote Port: Yamaha MOTIF-RACK ES-1
- MIDI in Port: Yamaha MOTIF-RACK ES-1
- MIDI out Port: Yamaha MOTIF-RACK ES-1
- Device No: 1
- Bulk Interval 20ms (I tried with several values)
- Dial Mouse Control: Rotate

Do you have any Idea what could be the problem? Thanks in advance!

Re: Synchronization problem with Studio Manager

You should never set the REMOTE PORTS to the same Port as your normal routing - this is chaos

- MIDI in Remote Port: Not Assigned
- MIDI out Remote Port: Not Assigned
- MIDI in Port: Yamaha MOTIF-RACK ES-1
- MIDI out Port: Yamaha MOTIF-RACK ES-1

You do not list any appropriate device to remote control your Multi-Part Editor. If you had a Yamaha keyboard syntheszier or a digital mixer like an 01X you would list its port here ... and it would be able to remotely control your Motif Rack ES - if you do not have any of these, set it to NOT ASSIGNED.
