Anyone experiencing this?

-I set the ES to pattern mode.
-ES set to SYNC to MIDI via USB.
-Press the start button, green light comes on

Start Sonar sequencer which in turn starts the ES to play a pattern. After I hit STOP in sonar. My Motif ES is now HUNG and need to turn it off. This only happen if I set the ES to use MIDI via USB. If I use a regular MIDI cable connection and set the ES accordingly all is well.

Sounds like the problem is in your USB-MIDI settings. USB-MIDI is multiple Ports - if set them all up to communicate back and forth and are sending clock both to and from the ES, sure, it will hang. Doesn’t have a choice.

Simply take a closer look at your Port assignments and your clock assignments. If you want help with it - let us know how you have it setup.
