Hello forum… What I am trying to do is sync my tempo delay fx from my Motif to my MPC… Is this possible??? My midi connections are properly connected and IM using the MPC as the master. Thanks in advance.

Re: Sync FX???

If the MPC is the master, then you mean “sync effects TO my Motif FROM the MPC” - right?

The tempo delay fx work based on note values, NOT tempo. Obviously, if you’re MPC tempo is set 120, and the note events triggered are 8th notes, then the delay repeats will be some division of those 8th note values, AT the tempo the MPC is set to.

Tempo delay FX do not sync to external clock, strictly speaking.
But if your note timing coming from the MPC is quantized, then the tempo delay should match up closely.
