I load Mid files from a Mac (G4 Ibook) to a USB memory stick.  When I stick it in the MM6, ‘invisible’ files show up.  ie for every mid file, there is another file starting with ._ Does anyone have a solution to this other than going to ‘the dark side’.......

Re: Invisible Mac files

These files are nothing to worry about. When your USB stick is inserted in your MM6, and you can view them in your file content window, go ahead and delete them. They’re basically Mac format “aliases” that for some reason (which even I haven’t figured out) show up along with
the “real” files (which don’t have the “__” before their names).

If you look at the file size of these odd “alias” duplicate files, you’ll see that they are all identical in size, and very small. That’s your clue that
they aren’t actually readable by the MM6.
