Hello, does anyone use the motif es8 with l8? i donwloaded the lso from the motifmart website but all the patch names are different than the ones i am hearing, in fact i can’t switch banks and i am stuck in the organ bank. I am going with midi cables and not usb cables, is there any difference?. I am in song mode on the motif. I am running leopard also if that matters. Any help would be great. THanks.

Of course, I don’t have to tell you that double posting is frowned upon… Anyway, a couple of questions first…

You say you’re using midi cables and not USB. First of all, why? And, how are the midi cables connected to the computer? Through what device?

Of course, if you have edited any voices or, loaded voices into your User Banks, you are going to have an issue with sounds not matching the names, unless you edit them in the environment..

Finally, how are you attempting to change banks?
