First Off let me say, ive done extensive research and realized Logic is my best bet. I just bought an Imac as well. I am a beat maker/composer and also record artists (singers and rappers). I currently use cubase on a PC but am thinkin about getting Logic on the MAC. I heard that Logic was top of the line for composing music...which is exactly what I want it for. However, I have heard mixed reviews on Logic as far as it recording vocals.

Re: Before I purchase Logic...
I guess my first question would be, isn’t Cubase able to do what you want to do? As for the recording vocals in Logic: Logic won’t be any better than your skill level in recording vocals, preamps, audio interface, mics, room etc…

Re: Before I purchase Logic...
Thanks for the response, i appreciate that. To answer your question, I love Cubase and the vocals sound great, It’s just I also make beats, and it’s hard to do loops and make beats in Cubase. Logic comes with all those sounds, and instruments and I need something like that to help me compose my tracks. I will still be using Cubase but I also wanted to learn Logic, and since I bought a MAC i thought i might as well have both cubase and logic na mean. Plus you said it your self, LOGIC is light years ahead of any DAW so I want to jump on that boat too feel me
