I laid down my bass track using my MO8 and I recorded it into Sonar 7. How can I replace the midi voice with say a voice from a soft synth without having to re-record the track?

Insert the soft synth
Take the MIDI track that you have recorded and assign the output ( that currently goes to the MIDI port that goes to your MO) to the soft synth
Voila!
