My Undo isn’t working. I did several erase edits to get rid of unwanted noise but on my last edit I erased a little too much. I highlighted the last edit in the Undo list and followed procedure in the manual and nothing happened. I even did one more erase edit and then went back to Undo to try to undo the 2nd to last edit (the one I previously tried to undo) and still nothing.
Any ideas?

Re: Undo

Tony, I would guess we’re talking about the AW16g.

Re: Undo

Yes, the AW16. I just tried it again. The screen tells me it is executing the erase, but when I go back to the track the erase hasn’t been removed.

Re: Undo

things like, press the undo and nothing happens, it doesn’t even try to undo. last year it took to rebooting itself or became unstable. I cured this by waiting for the disk light to go out before doing the next command (like rewind or return to zero, then play). I was going through the pad samples once and it became unstable. just general funnies, that you can get with any computer based system

Re: Undo

Do you think a reboot might help my Undo problem? This is the first time I used Undo since I’ve had the unit. I have had no other problems so far.

Re: Undo

Press and hold the UNDO button for several seconds and the UNDO list will appear in a pop-up screen. Select your item and click OK.

Re: Undo

Phil,
That is what I did. I highlighted the erase edit I wanted to get rid of from the Undo list and executed. The screen even said it was executing but when all was said and done the edit I was trying to reverse was still there. I tried it a few times. A few posts above indicates he has had the same problem. Any fixes for this?

Re: Undo

Not that I know of - it has been a few years since I worked with an AW16G - I’d contact Customer Support, they would have further information (if there is any).
