I’m running Sonar Home Studio 6 on XP with a Motif XS 6. When I change to a different patch in Home Studio, the voice played on the XS changes, but the display on the XS doesn’t ever change to show the currently selected voice. How do I get the display to update correctly? |

Re: Changing the XS display to match patch is Home This sounds like either an issue with the ins file or not properly relaying the commands to the XS. The way I get around this is to do a midi bulk dump. |

Re: Changing the XS display to match patch is Home I’m new. How do you do a midi bulk dump? Is that from Home Studio or from the XS? And where do I find it? |

I have Sonar PE7 but since this done through the Motif XS, I think it will work the same way.

Thanks. That worked for the current session. But if I start another song or turn off the XS, do I have to do that process each time? Or can I have that be the default condition all the time?

If you’re in SONG mode, won’t the display tell you the name of the SONG, not the specific voice?
