Are there Msb and Lsb #s you can use for a multi patch?
Or is there a way save a multi patch in say, user1?

Howdy, Changbrother.  Welcome!

On the ES RACK, you can send

Bank MSB=63
Bank LSB=65.
PC=Multi# (-1)
There is no reference to this in the NON-ES Rack, but give it a try and see if it works. 

ALL Multis are User Multis, so yes, you can store your custom ones into the Multi User bank.
