I have a problem: DSP effects do not work at record in Cubase. Resonance, attack, cutoff, EQ work, but DSP does not...(( It’s normal?

And… If I switch a timbre after record (without a computer) of the track with DSP effect, DSP in the written down track disappears.... It’s normal too?

Sorry for my english… )

Re: MM6 & Cubase. DSP Problem...

DSP effects might not work in a situation where you have several midi tracks. There is only one insert effect. Here is what I do:

If I want to use a dsp effect, I set the channel in the sequencer to “none”. I then do whatever I need to (quantize, edit etc) then RECORD that track to audio. Most synths work like this, they sound great in “solo” mode, but when you start sequencing they lost the great dsp effect that makes them sound so good.
