I noticed that several voice banks designed for Motif are available for free download from the mart. Thanks. My S90ES appreciates it and I do too.

Are the Motif ES presets different from the S90ES in any way? Are they available on the web in a format that can be downloaded into the S90ES or into the editor?

The S90 ES VOICE EDITOR can be set to open Editor files from the Motif ES and MO6/8 (.w7e), Motif-Rack ES (.w9e), Motif-Rack (.w6e), S90 (.w4e) and original Motif (.w2e)

When you click on OPEN, set the “FILES OF TYPE” parameter for the type of file you want to open.  Because the S90 ES post dates all of these products it can open their file types.

Thanks Bad Mister. So ... should I expect these Motif Factory presets to be different than the S90Es presets? Where can I find them?

Attached to this post is a zip file that contains the Motif ES preset banks in Motif ES Voice Editor format (*.w7e and *.w8e). The S90 ES Voice Editor can load these files and then you can bulk dump them to the S90 ES.

(Also included is a couple of files that compare the voices in the Motif ES to those in the S90 ES. Since the Motif ES has 6 preset banks and the S90 ES has only 4, there are quite a few - about 256 - preset voices in the Motif ES that are not present in the S90 ES.)

How can you convert w2v, w3v, w4v, ... , w8v to allow them to be loaded into the S90es?

What about w7a, w8a etc???

What about w2g, w3g (arpeggios)?
