Re: MM6..BUYERS BEWARE...NO “MIDI OUT”..WITH USB STICK
I can understand why you might want this feature, but is it really a deal-killer? After all, if you want to play a sequence, it’s easy enough to bring it into your DAW (Cubase or whatever you’re using) and play the sequence from there AND play along with your MM6 (while controlling another MIDI device, if you wish.) I’m doing that in Sonar without any problem.

Re: MM6..BUYERS BEWARE...NO “MIDI OUT”..WITH USB STICK That doesn’t make any sense! No MIDI out with USB stick? That’s a no-brainer Yamaha! You should have allowed this feature! On arrangers such as the PSR3000, a song is loaded from a USB stick or SM card into RAM, where it then can be played, and MIDI Out works fine. Why wasn’t this included on the MM6? I almost bought an MM6, but I decided not to buy it when I found out that it didn’t have portamento, which I need for the band. I’m glad I have an XS6 and a Tyros2 instead! Sorry for the venting, but I just can’t help myself! |
