Re: Any feel you want for the 32MB Piano

Hmmm.  This board doesn’t seem to work very well.  The registration feature is down and the suggested code didn’t work no matter how many variations I used.  Oh well.

In any event, the point of this post is to try to make sure all 32MB piano users know that, if they want to, they can change the feel on the piano.

The “character” of the keys i.e., the way they react to human touch is actually completely independent of the samples.  If you play a variety of MOTIF factory voices you should notice that some “feel” significantly different from others.

Did you know that you can play with MOTIF’s factory voices, find the “touch” or “feel” that you like the most and then substitute that “touch” for the one we set up for the 32MB piano?  (We like the touch as it is, but realize that some clients will prefer a different feel.) Well, you have a library of “touch” at your disposal.  It may take some time to pick out the ones you like the best but having done that you should be able to associate any MOTIF factory touch with our samples and then save that combination as a new user voice.  The result should be a piano perfectly suited to YOUR taste.
