HI, Iam new here, I currently own the motif es8 and i have a few questions.

1. i have the emu xlead, mo phat, and roland xr rack module. Can i assign each one to play a sound from difference sections in pattern mode for my song?, for example my emu assign to track 1on section A, mo phat assign to track 2 in section B, and roland xr assign to track 3 on section C? how do i set that up? Do i have to set up all modules talking to each other thru midi? will there be a delay when changing from A TO B TO C?  /forums/images/icons/wink.gif alt=

Re: multiple sound modules assign to the XS

Sure, that you can do this.
But that’s not a achievement from the XS but that’s MIDI....

You’ll get delay by adding more modules in such a dasy chain. But I think that in your case it will work ... if not you could get a thru-box

to mike:
you can add so many midi modules you like in such a dasy-chain, but the delay increases
