Is it possible to get the Yamaha soft case for the motif 8 in Australia? The Gator one doesn’t fit it apparently, and I’m keen to get a good fit soft case with wheels - Yamaha’s looks perfect.

From what I’ve heard, the cases are actually made by the U.S. guys, so you’ll have to buy one from them.

Yeah, I’m thinking about getting a soft case from the US - will cost about US$220 including postage (but not duty etc). Does this sound reasonable?

$450 seems a lot of money for a vinyl bag full of air!

You might talk to the folks at Nova Forge in Preston, Victoria to see what options they have for cases.

If you’re doing a lot of travelling with the Mo 8, you would want to be handling the unit yourself, and not letting QANTAS, etc get their rough little hands on it - especially if it’s in a soft case.
