How many of you either have this set up already, or are considering it? I would just like some feedback, I think I need to go to therapy, because when it comes to stuff like this I seem to be very co-dependant and indecisive, but in my defense, these are fairly large investments! |

Re: Triton Studio and Mo Rack what gear do you have now? are you recording into a computer or do you need the triton studio because it has the cd writer? if you already have a comp or someting else to record your music into, it would be cheaper for you to pick up a motif and triton rack. i am looking into getting a triton rack myself… |

Re: Triton Studio and Mo Rack
Right now all I have, is an xp-80 and a computer that is on it’s last leg, though I think I could refurbish fairly inexpensively before going out to buy another computer, because I really want to save for a mac, I thought about the motif & triton rack set up with an aw16g, but I was really atracted to the relative ease of use of the triton studio and sort of scared by the lack of motif’s user freindliness, if you will, and also the fact that the TS has a bigger sequencer, and slightly easier sampling functions with the built in cd drive.

Re: Triton Studio and Mo Rack
J_boy I have a Motif 8 and a Triton Rack with an AW2816 and I love my set-up, The Motif is only as hard to learn as you make it, if you have patience then youll get it, you still have to learn the Triton right? True, from what people say the Triton is easier to learn but it also cost alot more. The Motif start at 1700 for the 6 I think and the Triton Rack cost 1449,plus you get 140.00 rebate and a SCSI expansion and Concert Piano Expansion thrown in from Korg. The rack has 8 expansion slots and up to 96mgs. of sampling, comes standard with 16mgs, and you can use the Motifs sequencer for it. The Motif has the Best sounds I think. its all up to your budget and preference though. The Triton studio start at 2700 then you want the Motif rack thats 1,000, thats 3700 of the bat. Your choice though. thats my 2 pennys Good Luck CIPHER

Re: Triton Studio and Mo Rack I have a Triton Classic ProX and the MoRack. They were meant to be together. They complement each other’s strenghts. Get them if you can. I would get the Studio if I didn’t already have the classic. |

Re: Triton Studio and Mo Rack Is your Triton Classic 61, 76, or 88 keys? |

Re: Triton Studio and Mo Rack
The Triton ProX would mean 88 weighted keys.
