noticed on doing a google review of the s90es, it doesn’t have a sequencer, this would preclude one from recording arped voices into a sequencer for a supersong in that has many arps

That’s true… here’s a suggestion… please don’t copy the same comments and questions to multiple forums on this site as that simply leads to fragmented discussions. Just about everybody who posts on these sites reads all of the forums.

(And as I pointed out in one of the other threads where you posted this brilliant observation, if the S90ES had a sequencer it would be a MO… if it had a sequencer and sampler it would be a Motif ES… Yamaha is trying to address different customer needs with these various products.)
