can the dx200 patches be loaded on to the plg150dx board?.And if so, where can I get a sysex.bank of the dx200 orignal preset patches? it would be really cool to have the dx200’s preset patches on the plg board.

I’d have to say almost certainly not.  The FM engine in the DX200 has features that the PLG150DX simply doesn’t have, not the least of which are filters and effects.  To be fair, I don’t own a DX200, but I don’t believe it has the ability to save patches in a “dumbed down” format that can be loaded into the PLG150DX, DX7, etc.

You may be correct in your view, if you are talking bout loading the dx200’s effects(but I could still use the motif’s onboard effects if required).But keeping aside the effects and the awm2 synth(for drum sounds) the core technology is the same 6 operator FM synth!.And besides I have even seen a dx200 sound set provided with the native instrument’s FM7.I am not a synth guru but logically If i can load the dx and tx series patches(in sysex. format) on the PLG-150Dx then I think it should be possible to load the dx200 patches(barring the effects).Thanx anyways.

P.S. the plg-150DX does have low and high pass filters! Oh and one more thing the Dx200’s spec sheet says its Dx7 compatible.
